What is Coaching?
Coaching is a proactive approach of guiding and mentoring; Jackie uses coaching as a way of pooling all her skills together to enable a person to achieve healing. She uses coaching to facilitate the session by asking questions and challenging any self limiting beliefs that are stopping a person from getting what they want. Jackie also sees her role as a coach as an educating one, for example she teaches her clients how to think differently and gives them a clearer understanding of themselves and their behaviour.
Through Coaching Jackie will lead you to your end goal by way of practical exercises outside of the therapy room which can help you achieve your desired outcome. The kind of coaching that Jackie practices is aligned with life coaching and emotional intelligence coaching, thereby addressing practical challenges arising in your current life along with teaching you how to adapt your emotional response to difficult or traumatic situations.
